Jeffrey Lee Stinson, 64, passed away October 30, 2022 at Carolina Caring in Newton. Born August 7, 1958 in Catawba County, he was the son of Delma Jean Marshall Stinson Turner and the late Robert Lee Stinson, III. Jeffrey, a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, retired after 32 years of service with the Hickory Fire Department and had previously volunteered with the St. Stephens Fire Department.
In addition to his mother, Jeffrey is survived by his fiancé, Shelby Colman; sons, Kyle Lloyd (Emily), of Granite Falls NC, Cameron Lloyd (Hunter), of Boone, NC, Christopher Stinson, of Hickory, NC and Cruz Stinson of Maiden, NC; daughter, Jailyn Stinson of Maiden, NC; sisters, Debbie Helton (Paul) of Hickory, NC and Maria Scronce (Steve) of Granite Falls, NC; and three grandchildren whom he dearly loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover with Revs. Kyle Lloyd and Cameron Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory with full Firemen’s Honors.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
