Jean Young Cooper

HICKORY----Jean Young Cooper, 71, passed away March 1, 2015 at Burke Co. Hospice.Jean was born August 2, 1943 in Catawba Co. to the late Davis Monroe and Virgie Lee Rogers Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Lee Young.She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed being with all of her family.Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Biddix of Hickory; son, Michael Cooper of Hickory; grandsons Michael Biddix and wife, Amanda of Hudson and Toby Biddix and wife, Jessica of Granite Falls; two granddaughters, Cortney Cooper of Icard, Abigal Biddix; great grandchildren, Lilly Biddix, Michael Biddix, II, Taylor Anderson and Tiffany Anderson and Jayden Cooper; brother, Jarol Young and fiancé, Cathy Ray of Mt. View and her furry grandbaby, Sid.Services will be Wednesday, March 4, at 2:00 P. M. at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 4, from 12:45 – 1:45 P.
