Janet "Pat" Moore

Janet Cole Moore, 68, a loving wife and mother, has went on to be with the Lord Monday, May 6, 2013, at Frye Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Janet was born Nov. 12, 1944, in Dallas, Ga., to the late Arlee and Dorothy Price Cole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Moore; and two brothers, Kenny Cole and Michael Cole. She was a member of Miller's Lutheran Church and retired from Hancock & Moore Furniture. Surviving are her husband, Danny S. Moore; daughters, Melissa Bolick, of Conover; Melody Shook and husband, the Rev. Tim Shook, of Conover and Chasity Hall and husband, Timmy, of Newton; son, Josh Moore and fiance, Jamie Martin, of Hickory; granddaughter, Tekisha Edwards and husband, Kyle, of Conover; grandson, Casey Shook, of Conover; great-granddaughter, Kylie Edwards, of Conover; great-grandson, Kolton Edwards, of Conover; sister, Ann Hudson, of Hickory; and a brother, George Cole and wife, BJ, of Hickory. Services will be held Thursday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Shook officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller's Lutheran Church cemetery.
