Dorothy Hilton Ostwalt

“Dottie” was born October 2, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Shuford D. Hilton and Etta Proctor Hilton.

“Dottie” love to garden and nothing brought her greater joy than the children in her life. She loved and appreciated all her friends and family who kept in touch with daily phone calls and visits. She was a lifetime member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, George Samuel Ostwalt; Timothy Hilton Ostwalt; brothers, Ezell, John and Wofford Hilton; sisters, Ilene Fulbright, Blanche Reitzel, and Eunice Cloninger.

Survived by children, Jimmy Ostwalt, Susan Ostwalt Punch (Doug), Jeanne Ostwalt Davis (Reece) all of Newton. Five Grandchildren Matthew (Amy) Ostwalt, David (Emily) Punch, Lindsey Punch, Jansen Cole and Drew Davis. And four great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 3pm at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church with Reverend Bobby Petree officiating. Burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:45pm.
