She was the 4th of 11 children of Coy Edgar & Ida Mae (Starnes) Isenhour of Brookford, NC.
She was a loving, devoted mother, sister, and friend. She retired from Clayton Marcus, after which she enjoyed working on her farm, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are husband Billy V. Dameron, parents Coy Edgar & Ida Mae (Starnes) Isenhour, four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her children, Dale Yoder and Connie Blue (Eddie); step-daughters Cynthia Plyler, Cecilia Bilfinger (Tom), and Crystal Griffin; five step-grandchildren, Tanya Lam (Gordon), Tara Stewart (Tim), Christine Bilfinger (Alex), Elizabeth Bilfinger Hill (Colin), Michael Bilfinger, five step-great grandchildren, one brother Ricky Isenhour and three sisters Shirley (Boots) Elliot, Gloria Dean Moore (John), and Beverly Underwood (Doug).
The family would like to thank Judy and Mike O’Dowd, Rich and Mary Ann Wheaton, Marion and Claude Brewer, Lynn and David Zeiger, Rick Fox, Bethlehem Baptist Church family and Carolina Caring for their love and support through her illness.
Services will be held on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 at 2pm at Bethlehem Baptist church in Bethlehem, NC, followed by interment at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church at 7500 NC Hwy 127, Taylorsville, NC 28681 or Carolina Caring Inc. at 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
