David Leroy Kanupp

David was born October 18, 1946 in Catawba Co. to the late William and Ila Smith Kanupp. He was also preceded in death by step-daughter, Gloria Nocar, sister, Linda Hull, and 3 brothers, George Kanupp, Richard Kanupp, and Bill Kanupp, and grandson David Miller.

He retired from Aiken Black Tire as a Service technician.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Hayes Kanupp of Claremont, son, David Kanupp and fiance Misty Kiser of Granite Falls, daughter, Donna Storie and husband Tracy of Hudson, daughter Anna Miller and Husband Jeff of Lenoir, step-daughter Amy Miller of Galion Ohio, step-son, Alan Miller and wife Deanna of Galion Ohio, also 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also Ila and Daisy, his special pets.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 2:00 P.M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Derick Hodges officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M.
