Betty Jo McIver Storey

Taylorsville--Betty Jo McIver Storey, 82 passed away April 1, 2016 at Sherrills Ford Hospice. She was born January 1, 1934 in Catawba County to the late John McIver and Pauline Poovey McIver Young. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Story Sr.; great grandson Cody Storey; infant great grandson Brayden Storey; brother Jerry McIver; and brother in law Charles Ervin. She is survived by her son Eddie Storey and fiancé Christy Miller; her granddaughter Alisha Tucker and husband Thomas; her grandsons Elijah Storey and wife Amanda, Charlie Storey and fiancé Miranda Prince; great grandsons Rylan Tucker, Noah Storey, and Micah Storey; step great grandsons Tyler Trivette and Isiah Trivette; sisters Peggy Ervin, Dorothy Hawkin and husband Bobby. The family will receive friends on Monday April 4th from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday April 5th at 3:00pm at Oakland Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Cook Officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
