HILDEBRAN – Barbara L. Robbins, 76 of Hildebran went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 14, 1948 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Dock Henry and Callie Carswell Lail. Barbara was a member of Word of Life Church, she was strong in her faith and was a prayer warrior. She loved going camping with her husband. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, nanny, sister and friend to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Della Whisnant and a brother, John Henry Lail, and her precious Princess.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Curtis Robbins, daughters, Kimberly Shupe, Monica Holsclaw and husband Tony, Kathy Throneburg and husband Jimmy, Windy Hammond and husband Nathan; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings, Phyllis Spurlin, Kathy Brown, Brenda Self and husband Eddie, Robert Lail and wife Janet; her beloved fur baby, Sparkle; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 1 PM at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastors Tim Hertzel and Jerry Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 PM -1 Pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Cleveland County – VIA Health Partners.
