I'm Michael Turner and I had the pleasure of working for him at IBC Airways at Miami International Airport and at Gold Coast Beverage in Doral. He was the nicest guy I ever met in my life. He always put a smile on me and my other co workers faces. He was the one who saw me at Burger King Restaurant on 36th street and struck up a conversation with me about coming to work for him at IBC. Then Anthony Estrada another co worker also talked to me about working there afterwards. I just got the news earlier tonight from a friend who also knew him and worked with me at IBC as well. My condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

Hi, I am Nestor's daughter, I wanted to share something with the people who were a part of his life. Even after 2 years of him not being with us, I still think of him everyday. Sadly I only got 11 years with him, being his youngest daughter, but I can honestly say, just like everyone who was in his life, I wouldn't be where I am today without him, let alone who I am. He always made me laugh and never failed to put a smile on my face. I miss him so much, to his personality, his millions of stories I always used to ask him to tell me when I couldn't sleep, his laugh, his smile, and the way he used to be with us. He made an impact on so many peoples lives, and I am so proud of him for that. He inspires me everyday to keep going and not give up. I aspire to be like him one day. Although he would hate it if I say it, he didn't take care of himself. He always took care of other people before himself, that's most of the reason he is not here today. I miss him so much but I am happy that he is not in pain anymore. I would have loved for him to be able to dance with me at my quince and my wedding, but I am happy that he is not suffering anymore. May he rest in peace, knowing that he will live longer in our hearts. I love you Papi.  ~from your little booger

I met Nestor when he was the PE teacher at Playhouse and Biltmore School in West Miami.  Also learned he was a Judo Sensei.  Soon my 5 yo son enrolled in Judo with him.  When he opened a Dojo in the Falls warehouses I eventually became an instructor for him.  When he moved the dojo to Coral Reef Park we were unable to continue. He later built an amazing Judo Program at FIU.  Sadly we lost touch and only now, 2 yrs later sad to find he is passed away. He helped so many youth find their way through Judo.  Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and may perpetual shine upon him.   Nestor, you live on in the dojo in the sky. Keiotsuke! Rei! Hajime!

I can't thank you enough for everything you did. From seeing me start as a 13 year old just wanting to be like my dad all the way through college. I started Judo at Miami Dade College Kendall and stuck with it because of Sensei Bustillo. Even though I lost contact with him a few years ago, I can honestly say I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for the impact that he left in my life. I can't say this enough, thank you for everything. 

I met Nestor in 1977 while working for Fleming International.  Nestor, another friend Nick Baron and myself were new to aviation.  We shared information about the job as well our personal lives.  We had a good time working together.  Time and aviation has a way of moving people away. I worked at Fleming until 1986. Nestor and Nick went their own direction. Nestor came to my home in 1983 to visit Nick and l. This was my last personal visit from Nestor.  I can’t remember exactly but I know we really enjoyed our visit. 
Recently Nestor reached out and was able to find Nick through Nick’s wife name. Nick gave me Nestor’s number so I was able call and talk to Nestor. We did have several conversations always talked about getting together when he got better.  My thoughts and prayers are with Nestor and his family.
