When someone we love passes away, especially at such a young age, trying to summarize who they were and what they accomplished can be a very hard thing to do. Andy was someone who touched the lives of many people and trying to describe who he was in a few sentences is a task in itself. His essence, his life, his legacy is hard to put into words and even though Andy was many things to many different people, we write these words to give you a small glimpse of someone who meant the world to so many people.
Andy was a proud graduate of the University of Florida (Go, Gators!). He graduated in May 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He excelled in school and was on his way to starting his Master's Degree. He was also a strong and vocal figure in his community and his compassion for others spoke volumes. Outside of school, Andy is remembered as a hardworking gentleman who was always willing to help. He was someone that both his family and friends could rely on, no matter the situation. Andy is also remembered for his beautiful and wide smile! A smile that could light up a room and turn a stranger into a friend.
Out of all of his accomplishments, his pride and joy was his family. To him, his family was his foundation and they made him the man that he was. Even though he was 22 years young, he was still "Mommy's baby" and his love for his Mom was unmatched. He was also a big brother to 4 siblings who not only looked up to him but they were also proud of the man he was growing up to be.
Andy leaves behind a host of family members, friends and loved ones as well as various communities who will miss him dearly. His life, his legacy and his impact will live on through the countless people who loved & respected him.
In honor of Andy, a Visitation for him will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 8:00 P.M. until 1:00 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home, 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010.
