My daughter was married October 13, 2019, Bob's 90th birthday. I called to wish him a happy birthday again last week, only to discover his phone was not in service. 

I used to work in the footwear department at Goldman Bros. in Hicksville, and currently at New Balance. I knew the Randalls for over 25 years.
Bob and Sandy were more than dear customers, and it was always a pleasure to see them. We spent more time talking than trying on shoes. We shared a lot of stories and thoughts. Bob was such an eloquent, incredibly smart, and loving person.

Bob made quite an impact on my life.
He inspired confidence, personal insight, and knowing him made me a better person.
My guess is he had that impact on many people.

 He certainly made the most of his 91+ years and I am sad to think he is gone, but he is now with Sandy again. They truly adored each other.
The world would be such a better place with more people like Bob and Sandy.

Bob Randell is sorely missed. A close friend and colleague over these last ten years or so, we worked together on many and varied projects in connection with his astute leadership of The Irving and Phillis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare, to which he was deeply committed. His leadership skills were extraordinary and he had great respect and feelings for those he work closely with. 

A fine and decent fellow! My condolences to Richard, Michael and Philip as well as to all of Bob's family and friends.

Bob and I shared a wonderful  professionally friendly relationship.  I would often call just to “check in.”    We loved to banter and  he was a master.   No matter the content of the conversation, Bob had a way of making you feel better about , well,  everything.  I don’t think that was his intent.  I don’t think he was even aware of it.  It is just what happened.   What a gift.   It was truly my privilege to know this lovely man.  

Sandy was my dear friend.  When she got engaged to Bob, she brought him over to our apartment so that ny husband and I could meet him.  We had such fun!   Bob was a remarkable man. He was kind, generous, smart and, like Sandy, funny.   Over the years we had many great times with them.  He was a brilliant attorney and he helped so many people.  He loved Sandy and their sons and their families.  
His passing is a great loss to his family and to ours as well.  He will be greatly missed and remembered with love and admiration.

We feel so fortunate Uncle Bob has been in our lives! His big smile was always welcoming and we will remember him that way. One recent memory was when Hurricane Florence was bearing down on our Island in NC and he called to tell us to leave to be safe!! And we listened! His call opened a dialogue of many shared memories going back as far as UB's childhood. Paul and I loved hearing these stories. We even had his first Facetime call and we were surprised as were all the Boys, as he never facetimed before-we loved it! I want to let you 3 son's know that I will always be grateful for UB taking on another family and providing me w/emotional support. Our condolences to you all. We will miss you UB.

I used to love our Sunday talks he was so knowledgeable just listening to him talk I will truly miss those condolences to all the Randall family he will be missed
