Sally was a retired special education teacher at the Lewis Center for Academic Excellence in Apple Valley, California, where she passionately nurtured her students’ potential, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness and learning. In addition to her teaching career, she served as a dedicated civil employee for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in Rancho Cucamonga, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
In her personal life, Sally found joy in quilting and reading. She often shared her beautifully crafted quilts with loved ones, weaving her heart into every stitch. Her love of literature was a reflection of her curious mind and lifelong passion for learning.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Danny Ritchea; her loving daughter, Briahna Dean, her son-in-law, Bill Dean, her cherished mother, Marcie Foster; her brother, Craig Foster, and sister-in-law, Shelly Foster. She was predeceased by her father, Russell Foster, whom she held close in her heart.
Sally’s kind spirit, bright smile, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her unwavering love and gentle presence.
