Peggy Lee Garner

Peggy was born in Shreveport, LA. on January 13, 1951 to the late Herman Smith Sr. and Estelle LaFrance-Harris. She moved to California in 1954 and grew up in Los Angeles.

Peggy married Charles Garner Sr. on June 1, 1967 to this union there were two sons and one daughter.

Peggy enjoyed life and her family. She is survived by three sisters, Lillian Spencer of Rialto, CA, Leotha Nash (Louis) of Victorville, CA. and Arthurine Harris-White of Hesperia, CA.; one brother Zeke Shabazz of Hemet, CA.; two sons Charles Garner Jr. (Shineah) of Bellfower, CA. and Myrian Garner (Nancy) of Lancaster, CA. and one daughter LaRonda Wallace of San Bernardino, CA.; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan, Teilor, Kaylynn, Imani, Elijah, Chayce and one great grandchild Zion; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Charles Garner Sr.; three brothers, Herman Smith Jr., Talani Kalui and Ronald Smith Sr.
