Frank O. Torres

Frank O. Torres passed away on October 15, 2017 at his

home in Victorville, California, he was 69. Frank was born

on August 25, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas to his parents

Felix and Mary Torres. In 1964 his parents moved to La Puente

California and in 1969 he met and married Sharon

Schneider and a few years later enlisted in the United States Army.

They raised their family in La Puente for many years and then moved

to Victorville. He retired from Libbey Glass as a machinist after

35 years. Frank enjoyed life and went to work at

Toyota and Napa part time to keep busy. He loved to golf

with his long time friends, travel with his wife, and on his free

time he loved inspiring his grandchildren to succeed in life.

Frank is survived by his wife Sharon Torres of Victorville, Daughter,

Corrine and son-in-law Robert Merchain Jr. of La Puente, Son, Robert

and daughter-in-law Dianne of Victorville, and 6 Grandchildren,

Robert, Ricky, Marissa, Isabella, Julia and Gabriella. His 2 Sisters,

Viola and husband Douglas Edwards of Corpus Christi. Mary Portillo

of San Bernardino and 1 Brother Arnold Torres of San Bernardino.

He is preceded in death by his Parents and Granddaughter

Jacqueline Ortiz.
