Patricia Alice Walker

Patty, 66, passed on Saturday, September 26, 2015 with her loving family by her side. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by husband John Walker, children Kimberly Downing and Darryl Walker, son-in-law Kevin Downing, and grandchildren Alissa Villamor, Gage Orvis, Anastasia Walker, and Kaleigh Downing. She was also a loving sister, survived by her brothers Larry Leonard, Bruce Leonard, and sister Andrea Leonard. The aforementioned family members are but few in the large, loving family that Patty has left behind.

Patty was born to Alton and Alice Leonard on July 1, 1949 in Oneonta, NY. She went on to become a nurse where her true talents of spreading love and joy shined through. Pat married her husband, John, with whom she spent 43 wonderful years, on December 8, 1971. She touched many lives in her role as a military wife and nurse moving around the world, raising her family, and caring for her patients. Everyone who knew her felt her caring and loving nature. She will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Hwy, Henderson, Nevada 89015. All who wish to pay their respects are welcome. A donation site has been set up in her name for anyone who is interested at www.gofundme.com/e65f7tus.
