Marvin Scott Workman, 51, passed away on Wednesday, January 15,2020 in Henderson, Nevada. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Marvin Workman and Brenda Damron Workman.
He was a proud father of Brooke Renee Workman, brother to Adam Workman and wife Stephanie, and loving uncle to Abbiegale Joyce Workman and Jacob Anse Workman.
He was a licensed insurance agent for the state of Nevada and the state of Texas for more than 12 years. He co-owned an insurance agency in Texas. He was passionate about coaching youth soccer and he was certified with the Mansfield, Texas Soccer Association. Later, as a published author, he released three novels. Because of his enormous heart, he was always willing to help anyone in need. He was passionate about all the right things.
He received his BA Degree from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock in Sociology, as an Honors College Graduate, continuously on the Dean's List. He was awarded the Beth and Earl Richard Endowment Scholarship, recognized as a member of the National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Golden Key International Honor Society. He was finishing his postgraduate work at Arizona State University.
