Madeline Carol Lucero, 71, a homemaker, of Henderson, passed away June 7, 2011. She was born Dec. 26, 1939, in Pagosa Springs, Colo., and was a 50-year resident of Nevada. Madeline was a homebound eucharistic minister, and a member of Resurrection/Hospitality Ministry at St. Peter's. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Matilda Large; and siblings, Charles, Delpha, Ernie, LeRoy and Lorraine. Madeline is survived by her husband, Sisto Lucero; children, Bobbie Baca, Carol Williams and David Lucero; sons-in-law, Raymond Williams and Anthony Baca; grandchildren, Miranda and Raymond Williams, Jared, Valerie and Marlayna Baca; great-granddaughter, Sierra Lorraine Herrera; brothers, Manual and Tony Large; and sister, Lila Belarde. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Monday, June 13, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway.
