Linda Denise Mohen, age 61, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Monday April 2, 2018. Linda was born February 8, 1957 in MD. Linda is survived by her loving husband and business partner, Lee Mohen. She was a licensed Private investigator in the State of Nevada and the Secretary Treasurer of the Nevada Society of Professional Investigators. A separate service will take place for her family in Maryland, April 21.
A memorial gathering for Linda will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018. Guests may arrive 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
A memorial service will occur Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015 and guests are urged to arrive from 10 to 11am.

Linda D. Barnes-Mohen, a former Baltimore and Columbia native passed away April 2, 2018 in Henderson, Nevada her home of the last 14 years. Linda passed after fighting a valiant battle with lung cancer. Her loving husband of 21 years, Lee Mohen was by her side. Her father Jesse H. Barnes, mother Mary I. Jones-Barnes and brother Jesse Barnes Jr. preceded Linda in death. She is survived by her devoted husband Lee Mohen who she met in 1996 and married in 1997. Linda is also survived by sister, Mary Anne Andrews, her husband, John Andrews; sister, Norma Wright, and sister in law, Dorothy Barnes. She had many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Linda was an amazing accomplished woman. A success in life, business, and in her marriage. She was a self-made Woman. Linda had multiple degrees and above all she became a top level Licensed Private Investigator with a national reputation. She spent almost 15 years in this industry and her areas of expertise included background checks, fraud and trademark infringement. She also helped many people find lost loved ones, pro-bono. She was a member of the Prestigious Nevada Society of Professional Investigators and she was the Secretary Treasurer until her passing. Linda was also a member of the NCISS and numerous other national investigation trade organizations. She and her husband started 3 businesses and they all flourished. According to Mr. Mohen, she was tireless supporter of women’s and veteran’s issues. She was a true renaissance woman. Her hobbies included working out, dancing, gardening, painting and sketching, cooking, travel, cinema and reading novels. She will be missed and loved by all, especially the love of her life Lee, who lost his best friend, lover and soul mate. God rest her beautiful soul. A memorial service will be held on April 21, 2018 at The Wilde Lake Interfaith Center, 10431 Twin Rivers Road, Columbia, MD 21044 from 6 to 9 PM dinner will follow.
