Julie Deane Moore

Julie “JuBabes” Deane Moore, 53, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 11:25 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family. She was the youngest daughter born to Paula Deane Lingo and Dale Carl Brown (Marlene Brown) on February 6, 1966 in Lebanon, Oregon.

Julie graduated from Horizon High School in Paradise Valley, Arizona. She joined the United States Navy at 19 years old, retiring after 20 years of service to her country as a BM1 (SW) in July of 2005. Julie could always be found swimming laps in the pool, enjoying her nightly game shows or engaging in warm conversations with her family and close friends.

Julie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sula Permelia Engle; grandfather, Floyd Simon Engle; great grandmother, Linnie Mae Crooks; grandmother, Avis Monette; grandfather; Carl Brown; stepfather, James Lingo; and father-in-law, George Washington Moore. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 32 years, Darrell Wayne Moore; her two beautiful daughters: Brittany Nicole Stark (Richard Charles Stark) and Ashley Briana Moore; father, Dale Carl Brown (Marlene Brown); and mother, Paula Deane Lingo. Julie is remembered by her four eldest siblings: Victoria Lynn McClure (David McClure), Bradford Carl Brown, Wade Glenn Brown (Diane Brown), and Carrie Jo Veitz (Brian L. Veitz); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends from her childhood and Navy years.

Celebration of life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1550 Buchanan Blvd, Boulder City, Nevada 89005: Visitation from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will commence from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Julie will be laid to rest with honors at 1:20 P.M. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
