We are going to miss John very much.  We are all better for having known John, because he showed us what it means to love, be patient, laugh, live your life to the fullest, and the list keeps going.  We will miss his stories, you know, the ones you were thinking how he came up with that stuff, haha.  John was always there for his family and relatives, ensuring they were taken care of.  John, we will all miss you but know that you are watching over us each and every day.  We love you and you will continue to live on in the great memories we have of you.

The phrase "larger than life" always comes to my mind when I remember time spent with John. My favorite phrase, 
"thank you for everything" I repeated to him frequently. I'm a better man for having known him. He is missed.

John was a great person.  He definitely had some crazy stories but I learned a lot from him and he was always good to my family.  RIP

John... Who will not miss you? There was not any way for you not to have a conversation with John and not smile or even better laugh. You will sure be missed. Dear family we wished we could be there with you. We have you in our hearts and prayers.

John had a heart of gold. He would do anything for us and was always there no matter what time of the day it was. He was a good storyteller, always had a smile but most of all he was a good brother and brother in law.

When you hear people talk about their childhood, they always say their favorite part was going to Grandma's house for cookies. Well Grandma definitely always had cookies, but I went to Grandma's house to hang out with Grandpa. We played baseball in the garage, ran around the backyard and in the street, and he watched every softball game of mine he could. He was always there when you needed him and always there even if you didn't. I learned a lot from him. How fast to drive down Boulder Highway to hit all the green lights. How to have effective road rage. What to do if you're bored (not always safe and legal suggestions) or how to know when someone is yanking your chain. Half of his lessons may have been a bunch of bull, but I still cherish them. He was funny, crazy, kooky, and had a heart of gold. He was nothing short of wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better grandpa.

John was one of the funniest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He had a story to tell about everything! Most importantly, he was definitely a family man, and always made me feel like I was a part of their family. He will be missed so dearly, although I'm sure where ever he is he is watching down on us smiling.

John had a smiling face and something funny to say everyday I saw him. He always made me laugh, I enjoyed working with him. He will be missed. God Bless you and your family...RIP.

John was truly a dedicated man for the Clark County School District. He would answer his phone no matter what time it was and help you out, from forgetting a alarm code or trying to get a door open, John would be there. You will always be a true co-worker! God Bless You and your family!

There was nothing like getting a phone call from John at two in the morning telling me that something was down and needed to be fixed, He was always  upbeat and funny no matter what time or day. He will be missed>

CCSD and every parent in clark county do not realize how lucky they were to have Johns endless dedication to serving them.I and many others do realize how blessed we were to have this man in our lives.The pain in our hearts no matter how bad it hurts right now was all worth it in the end.I owe John all the credit for the succesfull life i now have,as John hired me.I will never for get ya bud.I have much love for ya.REST IN PEACE. John was my supervisor for a number of years, he was the best boss I have had in my 30 years in CCSD. He once told me his philosophy was that "everyone has something to offer you just have to find out what it is and work with that person from there to make them better". That is how I will remember him.

I have known John and his brother for many years. Always a positive man esp. when things did not go so well... Recall him taking my old cell phone after I was the Warranty Inspector we had some good laughs when he would get a call for me. They were not happy at first then john probally had them in stitches before the hung up! We will miss you John!

John was the best! Always there when needed and always with a Great story! He will be missed.

John brought joy and life to all the people around him at CCSD. I spent each morning with him over the last three years, talking about all things and everything. He will be missed and always in my memory.
