Joanne was born on September 23, 1923 in Terrasini, Palermo, Sicily, Italy. On May 8, 2013 she joined her husband Congetto in Heaven. She is survived by her daughters Lucy (Mike) Macpherson and Cathy Madonia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John (Amy) Luber and Deborah (Chris)Morelli; her great grandchildren, Nick Morelli, Matthew Luber, Mike Morelli, Mark and Julia Luber. She is also survived by her brothers, Gaspare and Tom Serra, both of Buffalo, NY. Joanne has lived in Henderson, NV since in 1993. Family will be available on Thursday, May 16,2013, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson, NV. Services will on Friday, May 17th at 10:30 a.m. Palm Mortuary with burial services immediately following at the Veteran's Cemetery, in Boulder City, NV.
