Guillermo "Memo" Alfaro

Guillermo "Memo" Alfaro, age 43, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was born in O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, California to his parents Maria C. Salinas and Guillermo Alfaro. Memo was raised in San Jose with his two sisters Lisa and Monica. As a young man, Memo enjoyed playing T-Ball and participating in Boy Scouts. He liked spending time with his cousins Alex, Daniel and Mike Lopez; skating boarding, reading comic books, and collecting baseball cards. Memo attended Lincoln High School in San Jose, California.

Guillermo was not a stranger to hard work. He had a career working in shipping and distribution management; his last 6 years working for Mom's Meals. Through his hard work and dedication, he achieved a supervisory position within his company.

Memo was a loving and devoted son, protective and supportive brother, and the fun loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed abstract painting, cooking, making hot sauce, and his two furr babies: Paco and Baby. He loved traveling with his family for trips to Disneyland and Colorado. He was also a sports fan, who supported his two favorite teams: the 49er's football team and the San Jose Sharks hockey team. Memo was an outgoing free spirit who lived life to the fullest, and will truly be missed.

Memo is survived by his mother, Maria C. Salinas; stepfather, Johnny Wiggins; father, Guillermo Alfaro; sisters: Lisa Alfaro (Tony) and Monica Gutierrez (Daniel); his extended family; his nieces and nephews: Gabriel, Antonio, Miguel, Nayeli, Sammy, and his fur nephew, Lumpy.

A visitation for Memo will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, Funeral services will begin and 2:00 PM.
