Don Taylor was a great guy and memorable role model to me when I attended BCHS. My condolences to his family.

May you have Peace.  I remember the great smile you always shared with us at school.  You will be remembered often and with fondness.

Lorraine and family -- my sincere condolences on the passing of my ATO Brother.  While I rarely saw him as we labored in the fields of Youth, I thought of both Bob and him often.

Rest in peace, you were so admired, respected and liked by so many.  You made a difference in every life you touched.  We were lucky to have known you.  Thank you, Mr. Taylor.

On My first day of high school at Basic I was very nervous until I felt a hand on my shoulder-it was Don Taylor, telling me that everything was ok. I was speechless because 7 or 8 years earlier about 2 miles away, Bob Taylor did the same thing while I stood outside waiting for my folks to pick me up. What good people, what great examples, what wonderful memories. Thank you, Don and Bob.

My wife and I were out of town and only learned of Don's passing today 2/28 at 11:30 A.M. from a friend. We will send our formal condolences soon.

He was my coach, mentor, and friend and someone I will never forget. Please understand the depth of my sadness.

One of the very few down to earth person Ive ever known. Both he and his brother Bob played many rounds of golf with me when I was in High school. My heart goes out to the entire family....RIP.

Wonderful teacher and administrator.  I will never forget his smile.  He treated everyone with respect and in turn, was respected by all.

So sorry for your loss. Mr Taylor was always fair and honest with the students at BCHS. The photo of him is how I remember him even tho I haven't seen him in over 40 years.

Mr. Taylor was a wonderful man.  We are lucky to have had him in our lives!  He will be missed!  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time, especially his wonderful wife.  Mrs. Taylor was my 5th grade teacher.  They are a couple that really cared about many generations of children from Henderson!  Thank you for all of your service!

We will miss you coach, I still reminisce about the time you made me do 60 laps around the old Henderson elementary school Football for smack someone...I love for teaching me how to play basketball & play nice with others.

Mr. Taylor was such a kind, generous man.  He was my neighbor and the father of my dearest friends.  Thanks, Mr. Taylor and Mrs. Taylor, for all the wonderful memories I have from spending time at your National St. home.

Mr. Taylor was the assistant principal at Basic High when I went there. I remember him to be a fine and fair man. I never heard him raise his voice or treat anyone poorly. Thanks for sharing him for those many years with so many students.

My deepest condolences to the family for your great loss. Mr. Taylor is now smiling looking down at his family and his golf buddies from the golf course in Heaven. Mr. Taylor was the greatest teacher I have ever had. He was so kind and caring to his students. The most important quality he had no other educator had, he took time from his lunch hour to help students who needed it. He was an intelligent teacher with character and charisma. He had even made time in his golden years to help me with information with my BHS Archive Project. He is one educator while growing up in Henderson I will never forget. Again, my heart and prayers goes out to the family.
