Debra Sue Coroneos Weller, 73, of Henderson, passed away June 2, 2021 at home in Henderson, Nevada. Debbie was one of the first babies born at St. Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson on September 22, 1947. Debbie attended St. Peter’s school and graduated from Basic High School in 1965. She met and married her husband George Weller of Henderson in 1968.
Debbie attended what was then Nevada Southern, now UNLV, and received a degree in elementary education in 1979. She held a Masters Degree in special education from Nova University. Debbie taught in the Clark County School District for 27 years with over 26 years at Fay Galloway Elementary School in Henderson.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, George and Joye Coroneos, and her sister, Catherine. Debbie’s husband, George, preceded her in death by two days. She is survived by daughters Jennifer (William) Wells and Trisha (Michael Cooper) Weller, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Paula.
