Constance Jean Moore, 77, of Henderson, passed away August 12, 2017. She was born in Austin, Texas, October 13, 1939 to Sam and Margaret Loray Roselle. Connie was raised by Sam through her early years, then by mother Rae and new military step-father Ellis Barr. As a teenage military dependent living in West Germany, Connie graduated Wiesbaden high school in 1957. She then relocated to Rome, New York, where she met her husband, Air Force Major Eric J. Moore. The couple were married in 1960, and were blessed with two children. A Nevada resident since October 1971, Connie went on to earn a Masters degree in psychology from UNLV University. She worked a successful 18 year career as an inmate classification case worker with the Nevada Department of Corrections. She retired in 1995 and lived life happily according to her choosing, until her passing. Connie leaves behind her daughter, Pamela J. Patten ( David); son, Eric M. Moore; and extended family and in laws in Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Texas, California, Florida and Canada. A memorial service will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. She will be laid to rest following at Palm Henderson Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Rifle Association.
