Roderick Garth Owens, 87 of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Desert Hills Memory Care in Hemet, California. He was born Saturday, August 22, 1931 to the late George and Bertha Owens in St Boniface Canada. Roderick liked country music, enjoyed walking and being outdoors. He worked over 30 years in the utility industry planning the Edison electrical lines all over the county. Roderick was very good with computers and had a very successful knack with evaluating stocks to invest. His family describe him as being reserved and appreciated family. Surviving is his daughters Kelly Ruston ( Thomas ) and Judy Owens; sons Mark Owens ( Melissa ) and Randy Owen ( Kathy ); 3 grandchildren. Serivces will be private.
