Michael William Hinkle, 71, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019, in Hemet, California. He was born on Thursday, September 9, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to his parents, Delmar and Evelyn Hinkle. He grew up in Torrance, California where he attended school. At a young age, Michael worked at the Tasman Sea, Borden Chemical and the City of Ranchos Palos Verdes. Michael even dabbled in real estate, but later became a service technician for the Southern California Gas Company. Michael eventually retired after 35 years of service. Aside from being a hard worker, Michael was a true family man that made everyone smile and would do anything to help someone out. Family was one of the most important things in his life. When he wasn't busy working or spending time with his kids, you could find Michael out in the yard. He had a passion for gardening and always had a beautiful yard that he took pride in. Michael enjoyed history, reading, camping and going to the beach. He loved Trump and America. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Del Hinkle, his sister, Lynne Wallace, and his loyal basset hound, Winston. He is survived by his daughters, Anna (James) Obey of Hemet, CA. and Catherine (Ricky) Linares of Klamath Falls, OR., his sister, Patty (Tim) Blau, his brother, Charles Hinkle, four loving grandchildren, and his loving nieces and nephews. Michael will be forever missed but never forgotten. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16, 2019 at 4:00PM at James and Anna's home, 486 N. Soboba Street, Hemet, California 92544.
