Mathew Francis Bryan

Matthew Bryan, 90 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California. He was born on Wednesday, June 12, 1929 in Quincy MA to the late Matthew and Alice Bryan. Matthew was married to the love of his life, Lillian Bryan for over 69 years before her passing in April 2018. He was a foreman in the construction business for over 55 years. After retirement he and Lillian loved to travel in their 5th Wheel visiting all over the US. They especially enjoyed visiting Massachusetts where most of their family lived. Matthew had a big heart and always was willing help people in need. He was competitive and liked to play cards. His special game was Hand and Foot. His dog Quincy was his companion for a long time. He was known to take him for a ride in the car, windows down and the air conditioning blasting. Matthew did have the opportunity to travel this June to Massachusetts for a 90th birthday party where everyone was able to attend. Preceding in death was his wife Lillian Bryan and son Francis Bryan. Surviving are daughters, Carol Johnsen ( Glen ); Kathleen Small; and brother Richard Bryan ( Anne ) Mathew has 10 grand children and 23 great grandchildren.Services will be private.
