James Edward Wahl, 69 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015. He was born Monday, January 28, 1946 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was the son of the late Walter an Cora Wahl. He was married to the love of his life, Paula Wahl for 8 years. Jim was a proud member of the US Navy and served from 1965 to 1971. He belonged to the local American Legion San Jacinto Post 848 for many years. He liked the outdoors and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. Jim highly enjoyed watching Science Fiction movies. He was known to pick up the karaoke microphone at the American Legion and sing his favorite song by George Straight ," Cross My Heart " .Jim and Paula liked to visit the local casinos and he played three card poker. His family describes him as friendly, loving, open and very family oriented. Surviving are son, Matt Wahl, daughters, Sandra Tomboly and Jacquelin Wahl; step children Dena Varela, Tony Caruana, Jeff Robitaille, and 11 grand children. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Soboba Springs Mobile Home Park located at 2230 Lake Park Drive San Jacinto, California 92583
