Heather Young

02-28-1973 to 11-19-2010

Heather Young was the fifth and final child to be born to Larry and Ruth Young. She entered this world with her twin sister Annette the 28th of Feb 1975 in Fontana, Ca. Not only did Heather come as a twin, she came as a "special angel from above"; Heather was born with a variety of birth defects that would mark her life, but in the journey of her life touch many hearts.

Through her years Heather would face many challenges, the greatest of these came when shortly before her 3rd birthday she suffered a sever stroke which would further change the course of her life. Heather grew up in Montclair, where she frequented LincolnDevelopmentalCenter in Ontario, FrancisElementary School and OntarioHigh School completing her "education" in 1996. Despite her physical challenges Heather distinguished herself with a joyful heart and a sweet disposition and as well liked by all around her. From an early age Heather seemed to grasp the spiritual truth that Jesus loves me and experienced great joy and peace from the faith she shared with her family.

In 2002, Heather moved with her parents to Hemet, CA where she became involved in the Exceed Program and Valley Evangelical Free Church. Once again Heather touched the hearts of all she came in contact with, while her words were few this special angel had a gift in sharing God's unconditional love with others.

Heather's health was frequently challenged, but in a completely unexpected hospitalization she went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, the 19th of November 2010 at the age of 35. Heather is survived by her mother Ruth A Young, her siblings Kathy Verseput, Philip Young, Marni Damaske and her twin Annette Robbins. She will also be missed by her loving grandmothers Beulah Van Deventer and Betty Young along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. All of whose lives will never be the same without her. Good-bye our precious angel.
