George Floyd Klann

Evelyn Martha Klann, 97 of San Diego, California passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was born on Sunday, August 15, 1920 in Eberdine, South Dakota to the late Otto and Susie Rose. Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Klann on January 19, 2013, after 72 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by five children, Howard Klann, Kenneth Klann, Karle Klann, Judy Penney and Linda Haythe; two grandchildren, Beth and Dennis; three great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way.

Evelyn was a loving and caring woman who enjoyed every moment spent with her family. She loved to be outdoors, feeding blue jays, taking care of the flowers in her yard every day, or just sitting in the sun. Her favorite things were eating chicken wings and watching the Lawrence Welk Show. She also loved going to swap meets with her husband, George, and spending time with him in the garage building things.

Evelyn was dearly loved, and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

Interment will take place privately at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with George.
