Frank was born in Chicago, IL on June 10, 1935 to Orlando and Agnes Ventresco. He grew up in Chicago attending elementary school and Lane Tech High School where he took an interest in ROTC, becoming a highly decorated cadet and expert marksman. He later joined the United States Marine Corps, serving his country during the Korean War era before meeting the love of his life and wife of 61 years, Marian Annoreno. Together, they built a beautiful life and family consisting of four children and enjoying flying, boating and camping. Although quiet and reserved, Frank possessed a deep love of family, revealed a dry sense of humor and loved to tease those close to him.
Frank is survived by his spouse Marian, daughter and son-in-law Catherine and Victor Johnson, son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Donna Ventresco, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Amy Ventresco, son Michael Ventresco, grandchildren Angela, Amanda, Nicholas, Dominick, Vanessa, Sophia, Lauren and great grandchildren Evelyn, Daniel, James, Jonathan, Benjamin, Tenley and Keira.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Miller - Jones Mortuary Murrieta at 2:00PM. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at Miramar National Cemetery located at 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA.
