Elizabeth Perez

Elizabeth Victoria Perez, known as "Vickey" to many, passed away peacefully at the age of 67, on January 2, 2021, in Los Angeles, California. She was born to her parents, Simon Villegas Florez and Rachel (Cortez) Carlos, on Monday, January 12, 1953; and she was the the third child of 11 children.

Vickey has been married for 35 wonderful years to the love of her life, her best friend, Mauricio Perez Leyva; and has been blessed with 3 loving children that would later make her an amazing grandmother. She was a strong, loving and a truly unforgettable woman who served as a pillar of strength to others. Her love for her family was endlessly. Vickey loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing slots at the Casinos.

Vickey is survived by her husband, Mauricio Perez; her sons, Robert "Bobby" Sandoval and Israel Sandoval; 9 adoring grandchildren, Gabriel Pulido, Carlos Pulido, Davina Guzman, Dhominic Acevedo, Isaiah Sandoval, Jazmine Fate Tadifa, Angel Sandoval, Jordan Sandoval, and Payton Sandoval; her siblings, Jesse Florez, Susie Ramirez, Robert Florez, Eugene Florez, Timothy Florez, Sam Carlos, Greg Carlos, Mary Morse, John Fred Carlos, and Flora Carlos-Asche; and many nieces, nephew, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Angel Sandoval and her parents, Simon, Pops and Rachel.
