Deborah Kay Zizzo

Deborah (Debbie) Zizzo went to be home with our Heavenly Father, on April 17, 2021, at the age of 71 years. Debbie was born in Denver, Colorado on April 17, 1950 to Patricia Von Blucher Harold M. Cota . She grew up in Chicago, Illinois for most of her life and moved to California in 1984. She is survived by her Stepmother Mary Cota and husband Dave Hicks.

Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, going fishing, family card games (poker), she loved going to the casino and most of all she loved her dogs. Her dogs were also her family and were treated just as such. She loved her family unconditionally, her heart was HUGE, and she never turned her back on anyone. Debbie helped raise and guide her grandchildren throughout the years and loved and adored them. Debbie worked in the legal field for about 30 years, she was extremely intelligent and never hesitated to help those who needed it.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Marci Zizzo-Granados, Staci Zizzo, Angie Martinez, and Joey Zizzo; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 11 siblings and her two dogs: Bella and Oreo.. She will forever be in our hearts and will be missed tremendously.

A celebration of life will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary Chapel in Menifee, CA on July 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.miller-jones.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zizzo Family C/O Angie Martinez or Marci Zizzo-Granados.
