David Ray Stipp passed away at the age of 84 on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in San Jacinto, California. He was born on April 15, 1937 in Muncie, Indiana, to Joseph Milburn Stipp and Ruth Thompson Stipp, and he was one of two children. He graduated from Muncie Burris High School, Class of 1955.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University in Bloomington 1959, he went on to enjoy a career in Marketing, Sales and Management, primarily in real estate and franchises. David was also an amazing husband and father. He was married for 41 wonderful years to the love of his life and his best friend, Ruth Stipp. He was blessed with two children and two step-children who would later make him a grandfather, great –grandfather and even a great-great-grandfather.
After living in Tustin, California for nearly 25 years, he and his wife moved to Four Seasons in Hemet early 2004, where he would enjoy serving on numerous committees and joining several clubs, including the RV Club, where they made numerous friends. He also enjoyed several cruises which took him to Europe, Asia, middle and South America, and Islands in the South Pacific. He also loved woodcarving, jigsaw puzzles and camping.
His love for his family was beyond measure. David is survived by his wife Ruth Stipp, his sons, Kevin (Lois) Stipp and Keith (Janice) Stipp, his two step-children Kelly Ritayik and Ryan (Allison) O’Neal; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, and his only brother, Joseph Bradley (Cheryl) Stipp and their daughter, Kristin (Anthony) Lauricella.
A Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will be held in September.
