David Lee Musick

David “Dave” Lee Musick passed away on December 8, 2020 at the age of 67 in Hemet, California where he resided with his beloved wife, Lorna. As a testament to his true character, his battle against cancer was faced with strength, courage, moments of humor, and his inherent ability to face any obstacle life presented with fortitude.

David was born in Topeka, Kansas and moved to Southern California when he was 7 years old. For most of his life he resided in San Bernardino where he attended school and raised his family.

As someone who genuinely enjoyed having a good time, some of his favorite moments were concerts, trips to the beach, camping, and sharing stories about good times of the past. For him, it did not matter if these moments were shared with friends or family, if everyone was having a good time, he was happy.

Surviving family members of David include his wife Lorna, his eldest sister Jean, his son Aaron, his three daughters Lauren, Megan, and Alexandria, grandsons Kendrick and Kristopher, granddaughters Aspen, Elizabeth, and Marilyn, great-grandson Nathan. Shortly after David’s passing, Megan welcomed a baby boy by the name of David to the family, who has lifted hearts and spirits.

The family has decided to postpone services until a later date. It is preferred that the life of David Musick be celebrated under circumstances that lend to lighter hearts and moments, as that is how he would truly want to be remembered.
