Beatrice Hernandez Morales

Born July 24,1936 in Cameron, Texas, she lived in different cities before setting in Los Angeles, California. She worked in the fields picking cotton, potatoes, tomatoes and whatever jobs were open for harvesting from Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, Utah and Idaho. No matter what kind of weather it was. Growing up was hard, especially being the eldest only girl. Her Mother Petra had 14 Children, 6 girls, 6 boys. 2 infants passed away at an early age, no information was provided for cause of death. My Mom meet her sweetheart at the age of 5 in Texas. They married at the age of 15. They had 7 Children. Her loving husband, Manuel Garcia Morales passed away in 2010.

Survivors include her Children; Daughter's, Irma Morales Kline, Juanita Morales Medina, Guadalupe Morales and Carmen Morales Pido; Sons, David Morales, Eduardo Morales and Manuel Morales Jr.(Deceased). 19 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren. My mother's Siblings; Ramiro Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Christina Hernandez Medina, Ofelia Hernandez Gonzalez and Dolores Hernandez Weaver.

Mom was my Rock and my Queen. She kept the family strong in our faith as a Catholic. We have all learned from her, especially from cooking, the adventures and the beaches. We will miss her stories about the old days and her phone calls every day.
