Angelo Aiello entered eternal life on June 24, 2012 in Hemet, CA. He was born on December 28, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan as a first generation Italian-American to Salvatore and Angelina Aiello. He was one of eight children.
Angelo moved with his family at a young age from Michigan to Southern California, living in San Pedro and Perris. As a young man he joined the United States Coast Guard, serving during World War II. After leaving the Coast Guard he took part in his sisters Ann's wedding as a groomsman. There he was introduced to one of the bridesmaids, Mary. They soon fell in love and got married not long thereafter. They would have four children together. He worked for Mobil Oil and, along with his family, lived in East Los Angeles, Carson and Huntington Beach before settling in Sun City. He was extremely devoted to his family and church. He belonged to the Holy Name Society and was an usher at Mass for many years.
Angelo was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters, and his wife. He is survived by his sister Ann, his children Sam, Angela, Frances, and Teresa, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
