Ana-Rene Ruiz Bolton

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Russell Ruiz, and her nephew, Andrew Ruiz.

Edith and Felix moved their family to New York in 1958 where Ana-Rene remained until January 2015. Truly a scholar, she is a proud graduate of York College where she graduated magna cum laude with a 4.0 GPA and earned a Bachelor's in Accounting. Ana-Rene met Norman Bolton and married in 1977. To this union, their son, and Ana-Rene's only child was born on July 30, 1979, Ramon.

Ana-Rene was a legal secretary and document specialist for 20 years after leaving banking. In January 2015, Ana-Rene and her son Ramon relocated from New York to California. She got Kirby, her beloved dog in 2015 to keep her active. She loved to read, play computer games, crochet, knit, and was a self-taught pianist.

She had a thirst for knowledge and was even revisiting her entire college coursework for fun! Always looking to learn, Ana-Rene became a licensed real estate agent in California in 2019. Her last job, along with being a real estate agent was working with her son, Ramon, at Securitas as a call center agent.

Ana-Rene leaves to cherish her memory of her only child, Ramon, her remaining siblings Felix (Lois) Ruiz, Deidre Ruiz, and Marcy Clark, her three nieces, her ten living nephews, and a host of great nieces and great-nephews.

Always staying busy and sharing her wit and creative talents including her love and talent for crocheting, Ana-Rene made an impression on everyone she met and leaves her smile and charm to be cherished.
