Rosemary Ann Landrey Paul, mother and grandmother, died suddenly at home. She was 81. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas, on December 28, 1928. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Bacteriology from the University of Kansas and worked in Kansas City as a medical technician until she married William F. Paul in 1963. They lived for many years in Overland Park, Kansas. After Bill died in 1982, she started working as an administrative assistant at Johnson County Community College. She moved to Helena in 2002 to be close to her daughter and family. Rosemary loved a good mystery, KU basketball (Rock Chalk, Jayhawks! Go KU!), chocolate and a good cup of coffee.
Although she moved to a new town late in life, she quickly made close friends. She will be greatly missed by her family here in Helena, as well as in Kansas City and points abroad, and by her many friends at the Waterford.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Paul. She is survived by her daughter Alison Paul (Mark Pomerleau) of Helena, and her two grandchildren, A.J. and Isabel. She is also survived by her brothers Bill Landrey (Beverly) of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Warren Landrey (Margaret) of Irving, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at the Waterford, 915 Saddle Dr., at 1:30 pm on March 2, 2010. A funeral service will be held in Kansas City at a future date. Memorials may be sent to Montana Talking Book Library, P.O. Box 201800, Helena, MT 59620-1800, Senior Companion Program, RMDC, P.O.
