Stephanie was born on October 8, 1974, to Jimmy Lee Maddox and Betty “Carol” Maddox in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was a resident of Bossier City for most of her life.
After Stephanie graduated from Airline High School, she later went on to graduate with an associate degree from the Culinary School at Bossier Parish Community College.
Stephanie was an eclectic type of person with several interests. Her free time was spent reading, cooking, playing video games, and watching movies and shows. She enjoyed reading books and watching movies that had mystery, horror, adventure, and fantasy. She loved all animals, especially her fur babies: her two cats, Dash and Blue. Above all, she loved spending time with her husband, Judd.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Lee Maddox and Betty “Carol” Maddox, and her grandparents, Griffin and Betty Holtzclaw and Doris and Beatrice Maddox.
Left to cherish Stephanie’s memory is her husband of 12 years, Judd Guest; siblings, Shannon Maddox Backofen and husband Mike, Michael “Shea” Maddox and his wife Laura Lee; nieces and nephews, Brandon Stader, Lauren Maddox, Kyle Backofen and his wife Claire, Megan Backofen-Jones and her husband Noah; great nieces and nephews, Michael Stader, Korbyn Stader, Ravyn Stader, and Wyatt Edwards.
Pallbearers for Stephanie will be Shea Maddox, Mike Backofen, Kyle Backofen, and Noah Jones.
Services for Stephanie will be privately held for the family and close friends Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 1:00 PM, with the graveside service to follow.
The family wishes to thank the many doctors and nurses that have cared for Stephanie over the past several years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice in her honor.
