Papa bob , i really can not put it in words how i feel at this moment. I often think of all my childhood memories filled with you and grandma. You were always happy , funny and loved us all more then anything. You were never scared to be blount about anything unless it involved grandma you always cared about how she felt . I loved the way you loved her . And how you two joked with one another. I will never forget the holidays you worked really hard to make special for grandma and all of us , the summers , after school , the weekends , whenever. I love you and always will . And i will never stop missing you .

I have fond memories of Bob while living in Council Bluffs. He was a genuinely nice guy and gentleman. Rest in Peace, Bob.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Robert D. (Bob) Musgrove our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Bob.   And to Bob it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Vietnam War while serving in the U.S. Air Force.  Bob, we commend you for your honorable service. You are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country.  You were a true friend.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.

So sad to hear of the passing of my friend from our school days. We hung out together and we worked together in the bakery at Super Value.  We had a lot of good times. I helped him buy his first car...there are so many memories from back then.  He will be missed dearly.

I have been so bless to have know Bob.  I met him at the VFW.   This was a friendship that took place threw the VFW.  If we seen each other we would have a good visit.   He love his country, and was proud he could serve his country.  I have lost a sweet friend, but GOD has gain a wonderful angel.  You will be missed Bob.
