As the sixth child of nine, Sally had 5 brothers and 3 sisters: The Late brothers: Benny, Henry, Billy Jo, Dale and Cecil Weaver; sisters: Dorothy Busby and Ruby Dement. Sally was loved and adored by her entire family and remained active as an avid golfer and enjoyed her daily walks, until she fell in 2008. Her husband, Gene Clements passed away in 2005. She is also survived by twenty nieces/nephews.
Sally began working as a young teenager during World War II, at the Louisiana Ammunition Plant. In the early 1960’s, she entered a long, successful career path at Bossier Bank and Trust and retired from Arlington National Bank of Texas, as a loan officer. After retirement, she and her husband traveled, took cruises and played golf. Together, they both began selling furniture (Wickes), until he passed away. When Sally became ill in 2009, she was moved back home to Bossier City, by her loving family.
