Patsy "Pat" McIntyre

Services honoring the life of Pat will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Bill Foster of NorthPoint United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pat was born March 10, 1951, in Shreveport, LA and passed away on March 14, 2019, at LifeCare after a brief illness. Pat was a blessing to all of those who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and friend. Pat spent her life serving others each day, and her incredible sense of humor brought joy and laughter to those around her. Pat's love for the Lord and for her sweet family, especially her grandchildren, were evident in the way she lived her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McIntyre; her mother, Lera Wynn Woodard; her father, G.A. Woodard; brothers, Charles, Neal, and Ralph Woodard; and her sister, Margaret Sanderson. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Denise Maples and husband Dan, their children, Emily, Kaley, and Jake; son, Glenn McIntyre and wife Heather and their children, McKenzie and Nathan. She is also survived by her brothers, George Woodard and wife Susan, and Don Woodard. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Honoring Pat as pallbearers will be William Wood, Robert McIntyre, Gary Brown, Kenneth Zeiner, III, John McIntyre, and Wesley Thomas.
