Loula Belle Hover

Loula Belle Hover, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2022 in Katy, Texas. Born December 30, 1920 in Sealy, Texas, Belle lived most of her 101 years in Bossier City, Louisiana and was founding member of Fellowship United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death is her mother Bertha Kretzchmar Williamson, husband of 41 loving years, Frank W. Hover, Jr., sister Ulna Brummett, brother Eldridge Williamson, and twin brother of 99 years Leroy M. Williamson.

She is survived by her two sons, David and his wife Lea Ann of Katy, Texas, and Douglas of Carol Stream, Illinois; four grandchildren Heather West, Joshua Hover, Zackary Hover, and Julianna Caruana; seven great grandchildren Ryan, Austin, and Ashli West, Tyler and Liam Hover, and Cora Lee and Julia Belle Caruana, beloved nieces and nephews; and many loving friends and neighbors who were like family to her.

Pallbearers are Joshua Hover, Zackary Hover, Roy Williamson, John Williamson, Ryan West, and Austin West. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Hughes, Frank Hover III, Phil Phillips, and Jerry Campbell.

Services will begin with a visitation at Hill Crest Memorial, Haughton, Louisiana on April 30, at 9:00 AM, with funeral services at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the cemetery.

We were all blessed to have her for such a long time. She was loved “a bushel and a peck” by all.
