Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Friend, Bo Roberts will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, LA.

Larry, 58, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 after a three month battle with Burkitt’s Leukemia.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Lula Humphrey, Wesley and Clara Lockwood and father, Elmer Lockwood.

Larry is survived by his mother, Helen Humphrey Lockwood; son, Chad Lockwood of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Christy Lockwood Stockholm of Marana, AZ; sister, Ann Pavloff and husband Victor of Plano, TX; brother, Dwayne Lockwood of Arlington, TX; granddaughter, Cassie Lockwood; Sheri Denmon (angel by his side) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends who loved him dearly.

Pallbearers will be Brian Riley, Chuck Humphrey, John Ebarb, Kenneth “BO” Franks, Greg Franks, and Mike Meshell.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Bone Marrow Unit and Dr. Srinivas Devarokonda with LSU-HSC as well as the staff of Circle of Life Hospice.
