Services celebrating the life of Karen Reeves Mason will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Jay Valentine, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Department. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, LA.
Karen was born in Minden, LA on October 26, 1955 and passed away on July 30, 2021 in Bossier City, LA. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her father. Karen was creative and quick-witted, loved flowers, and appreciated the beauty of sunsets.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Reeves and sister, Brenda Kay Reeves.
Left to cherish her memory will be her father, Rev. Wayne Reeves; husband, Randall “Randy” Mason; daughters, Cristy Carter and husband Jamie and Alisha Lambert and husband Russell; grandchildren, John David Huckaby, Daniel Ray Holden, Wayne Curtis Huckaby, Makayla Hope Sanders and Cadence Destynee Sanders; sister, Kathy Blount; nephew, Clay Reeves and niece, Jamey Posey.
The pallbearers honoring Karen are: Doug Lauter, Roy Rawls, David Huyck, Jay Williams, Mycle Dotie, Tommy Woodard, and Don Burling.
