Joseph E Greenwalt

Joseph was born in Clinton, Iowa on January 14, 1935, at the young age of 17 he joined the United States Air Force where he served 23 years retiring at the age of 41. Joseph met his wife, Helen while in the Air Force and married August 19, 1957 at the young ages of 17 and 22. Joseph worked as a jet engine technician and aircraft engine mechanic. He enjoyed flying remote controlled airplanes in his free time and was on a bowling league in his younger years.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Greenwalt; mother, Genevieve Greenwalt; and father Joseph Andrew Greenwalt.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Robert Greenwalt; grandson, Cole Greenwalt; and granddaughter, Kendyl Greenwalt.

A graveside service to honor the life of Joseph will be held Friday, January 5, 2023 beginning at 10am at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
