James 'Randall' Bissell, aged 62, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on June 4th, 2024, in Haughton, Louisiana. He was born on October 13th, 1961, in Springhill, Louisiana, to James T. Bissell and Irma Bissell.
Randall leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family. He is survived by Karen Bissell, his son Taylor Bissell (wife Ashley), his daughter Brandi Bissell-Dearing, his brother Mark Bissell (wife Holly), his father James T. Bissell, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Lee Bissell, his sister Debra Coburn, and his nephew Sean Coburn.
Randall was a proud graduate of Airline High School, class of 1979. Throughout his life, he excelled in various occupations, showcasing his skills as a mechanic at multiple dealerships, a welder for Snodgrass Welding, and a Diesel Mechanic at Schlumberger.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Randall found solace and strength in his faith. His relationship with God was paramount, and when able he was a devout member of Bossier Life Church, where he found community and spiritual nourishment.
In addition to his faith, Randall enjoyed simple pleasures, such as watching the Arkansas Razorback and wrestling, the thrill of hunting, and cherished spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved dogs.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on June 8th, 2024, starting at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. The services will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park in Haughton, Louisiana, with officiation by Perry Hart.
Honoring Randall as pallbearers will be Taylor Bissell, Brannigan Bissell, Kenny Lee, Billy Lee, Lucas McAdoo, and Shannon Creech.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Saved by Grace Animal Rescue, a cause close to Randall's heart (Venmo: SavedbyGrace-AnimalRescue) ([email protected]).
Randall will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
