Helen was born on Monday, December 2, 1940 in Buffalo, New York to the proud parents Edward and Marguerite Price. Helen met Howard at a young age and six months later, they were married. They traveled the world with his Air Force career. Helen was a great mother and caregiver to her family, and to her pets with her love of animals and specifically, her cats. Along with Howard, she was an active participant in the VFW and American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. She worked throughout Howard’s military life within the numerous Base Exchange “BX” locations. Helen was a gifted quilter and loved quilting. She was also know to cut-a-rug, as she greatly enjoyed parting the sawdust and all that country and western dancing allowed.
